family
July 6, 2007What I’ll remember most about this trip wasn’t the food, although it was delicious and fresh, or the sights, as beautiful and awe-inspiring as they were. No, what I’ll remember most about this trip is family. I got to introduce Rama to the rest of our family, my grandma, my aunties and uncles, cousins and nephews and nieces, and even grand-nephews and grand-nieces. And he loved them, just like they loved him. I will remember how family equals care and comfort and kindness, how you can really depend on them when you need them most, how they sometimes surprise you with how wonderful they are. I will remember how my family inspires me to continue their traditions and to someday have a family of our own.
Awesome!
