breakfast in the nook
Remnants of breakfast in the little kitchen nook

On Sunday morning, I ate breakfast in the kitchen nook, soaking in the morning light. It was a moment I’d been daydreaming about for weeks, since we first visited the house. I checked my email, read the paper and made a list for the farmer’s market. And, although I ate just a bowl of cereal and yogurt, it was an incredibly satisfying meal. I look forward to many more mornings like that in our new home: simple, warm and cozy.
