new TV discoveries:
as if i need more cheesy shows to watch: roswell, will & grace, the iron chef. well, the iron chef isn't cheesy at all; it rocks my world.

a heartbreaking work of staggering genius dave eggers so i decided to give this book another go. the only reason i stopped reading it the first time is because i was borrowing my roommate's copy that was signed by mr. eggers himself. i was afraid i'd fall asleep on top of it one night or spill coffee on its crisp pages, so i gave it back to her. |

coat by esprit i have what maura calls 'coat anxiety,' and it has to stop now. so it's a toss-up between this one in charcoal gray and a camel-colored coat i saw at the mall. we'll call it an early birthday gift to myself. nevermind the fact that it's 80 degrees outside. |

reel inn santa monica i am eating a lot of seafood, lately. it has nothing to do with a newfound love for it nor an attempt to eat little-to-no meat. it's just happened that way. the reel inn is a decent restaurant that i went to the other night. i had crabcakes and fish chowder. yum! |
