sort, file, shred
August 26, 2008In another life, I think I was a secretary or a librarian. I have always loved organizing, whether it’s sorting my sock drawer or alphabetizing CD and books. It’s a love dating back to childhood when one of my dreams was to be a principal’s assistant.
This week, I’ve been slowly going through my piles and piles of work and life files, tossing and shredding what I don’t need and finding a place for those I do. The process has been surprisingly invigorating and satisfying. And as my work space gets tidier, I feel like my whole body and mind are breathing a sigh of relief.
I am the same way, and I completely understand that amazing feeling that comes along with organizing the heck out of something – anything really – especially when it’s gotten a little out of hand !!!
I’ve just done a spring clean here in the office and my room at home too – it feels good!
Feng Shui says to get rid of the old to let the new in – or something along those lines :) Clear energy all around!
