dress-up

November 2, 2007

When I was a little girl, I really wanted Wonder Woman underoos. My parents didn’t buy them for me, though, so my big brothers crafted a costume out of my existing clothes, tiara and cuffs out of construction paper, boots out of knee high socks and a lasso out of yarn.

I’ve recently seen what the Wonder Woman underoos looked like in the early ’80s, and I was surprised to see that they’re just a pair of pajamas.

It just goes to show that you may not always get what you want, but sometimes what you get is so much better.
