October 23, 2002i don't read enough. for someone who fancies herself a writer, who is so in love with words, who would like someday to be a name on the spine on a shelf, i just don't. but that doesn't stop me from starting several books at once, buying more books i intend to someday read and keeping a list of books i should have read by now.
it sounds a bit daunting, but it doesn't have to be, thanks to singlefile, my new favorite website. designed by the sharp lads at 37 signals, this site helps you organize your book collection, whether it be books you've read, you're reading or hope to read. neat, no? yes. and the site is extremely easy to use and pretty to look at. even better.
of course, i'll probably waste too much time organizing my book collection than actually reading them.
