1 • Like, Mati who tagged me, I am a sweet tooth. When I was a little girl, I’d walk to the liquor store down the street and get a bag of candy for a dollar. I took that candy with me everywhere and hid it under my bed before going to sleep. Sometimes, when the lights were out and my parents thought I was asleep, I’d reach under the bed, grab a piece of candy and feast on my little midnight treat. To this day, I still crave sugar, but now I keep my sweets stash in a jar on the kitchen counter.
2 • I make myself fresh coffee almost every morning, but I hardly ever finish my cup. I think I just like the ritual.
3 • My head is littered with white and gray hairs. It has been since I was a teenager, but I didn’t mind until I hit my mid-20s. I used to get red highlights to cover them, but it cost too much to keep it up. I kind of like them, now. I feel wise.
4 • I still practice my handwriting, testing out new ways to write the lower-case “a” and my married woman signature.
5 • I like Mandy Moore. When I found out she was dating Mr. Braff years ago, I was baffled and disappointed. But then I saw her in Scrubs, and I appreciated the way she made a fool of herself in the name of comedy. I admit that I have now seen many of her movies and I bought her new album on iTunes. And you know what? It’s actually pretty good (especially the songs co-written by the Weepies, but that goes without saying).
6 • I thought I was 5-foot-5 until a recent doctor’s visit, during which I found out I’m only 5’4″!
7 • I buy books more quickly than I can read them.
8 • Someday, I hope to once again live in a house with a garden and a piano.

Hee…I didn’t tag anyone either, so I guess we’ll have to ride that bad luck train together, although I don’t really believe it. ;)

I was 5’3 for many years, until i measured myself in ’06, and saw that i was only 5’2 and 1/2. ah well. i like being short. (and yes, I’m going back through the archives, reading all the stuff i missed ;-)
