merry little moments
December 16, 2008 There are tiny bits o’ Christmas in our itty bitty apartment. No tree, though, since we need to save room for an air mattress. |
Everyone’s coming for Christmas, and I am scrambling to get everything ready. Between finishing up work, tidying our place and wrapping up loose ends, I am finding joy in merry little moments:
~ warming my hands with a mug of hot cocoa & whipped cream
~ lining up my soft felt trees on a shelf
~ hanging the button wreath on the front door
~ going for a brisk & chilly walk with a friend
~ writing cheery messages & stamping festive envelopes
~ untangling silver ribbon and finding glitter everywhere

I launched, then relaunched, an online magazine.
I admitted to several embarrassing crushes.
I consumed more bacon than any human should and lived to tell the tales.
