There is just so much going on, like wrapping up <a href=\"http:\/\/www.darlingstudio.com\" target=\"_new\">web projects<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ramahughes\/525011185\/\" target=\"_new\" title=\"Rama says it best\">making art for another show<\/a> and helping out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.luckydogranch.net\" target=\"_new\">my family<\/a>. All before Rama and I go to the Philippines in 10 (oh my gosh, 10!) days.<\/p>\n<p>Today brought a lovely respite from it all in the form of a visit with my dear friend Tonia and her 1-year-old daughter Josie. There were tea latt&#233;s and freshly baked lemon cookies, sippy cups and stacking cups, running around and climbing on tables, The Incredibles and Baby Einstein, and a whole lot of laughing.<\/p>\n<p>After they left, I felt a fire under my butt to get stuff done, but once I actually sat down to work, the fire was squashed gone. Which I guess was bound to happen. After all, I&#8217;m only human. And right now, the aches and heavy eyelids and pains and goosebumps are very palpable reminders of that.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m the weirdest combination of bleary-eyed and antsy.
