{"id":669,"date":"2005-03-17T12:21:00","date_gmt":"2005-03-17T20:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/maganda.org\/wordpress\/?p=669"},"modified":"2005-03-17T12:21:00","modified_gmt":"2005-03-17T20:21:00","slug":"thrive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maganda.org\/wordpress\/2005\/03\/17\/thrive\/","title":{"rendered":"Thrive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The days go by too quickly.<\/p>\n<p>So often, comedy strikes or I stumble across something beautiful or I just feel like saying &#8220;hello&#8221; &#8212; and then all of a sudden, like magic or lightning, it&#8217;s weeks later.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"\/imgs\/20050317_hello.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/p>\n<p>But I&#8217;m tired of apologing. I&#8217;m tired of repeating myself. And, most certainly, I&#8217;m tired of being tired.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m taking better care of myself, though. Maybe that&#8217;s one of the reasons I&#8217;m so quiet. I&#8217;m sleeping a lot, eating well and laughing often. This weekend, the wide open road calls. Rama and I are taking an itty bitty trip way up the coast, and I can&#8217;t wait. We&#8217;ve both needed a vacation desperately.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, a friend of mine signed an e-mail by saying &#8220;I hope you are thriving&#8221; and those words have stuck with me. It&#8217;s more than just saying &#8220;I hope you&#8217;re well&#8221; or &#8220;Have a great day.&#8221; To thrive is not just to exist or survive or hang in there. It&#8217;s to live and breathe and love out loud.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m working toward that. And I wish you days that are better than good and okay and fine, too. I hope <b>you<\/b> find ways to thrive.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The days go by too quickly.
