It&#8217;s a foot shorter than I am and pre-lit with 300 tiny white bulbs. With Rima and myself gone so much this month, we decided against getting a real tree. Even if I know that it&#8217;s for the best, I feel a bit sad about it. I&#8217;m going to miss the smell of pine in our house. I&#8217;m even going to miss the mess of pine needles all over the floor.<\/p>\n<p>Still, I&#8217;m looking forward to decorating it with my random assortment of handmade felt ornaments, threaded balls and wooden stars. I&#8217;m looking forward to wrapping gifts and arranging them beneath the bottom branches.
