I think they&#8217;re working, because my mom told me last night that Grandma is feeling better. She&#8217;s not out of the hospital yet, but she might be released this weekend if her health continues to improve. I feel so grateful. I can see her on that hospital bed making mental notes of everything she&#8217;s going to do when she gets back home. I can see my mom sitting beside her with a solemn smile.<\/p>\n<p>I have to confess that I am still scared, but I am not going to let the worry weigh me down. Instead, I think I&#8217;ll write my grandmother a letter. I&#8217;ll tell her how happy I am that she&#8217;s in my life. I&#8217;ll tell her that it&#8217;s undeniably summer and I&#8217;m going to celebrate by jumping in the pool. I&#8217;ll tell her about my sun-kissed porch garden, the funny flip-flop tan on my feet and the gigantic juicy strawberries I bought at the market.
