starting the day off right

February 8, 2007

It is far too easy to bring my breakfast to work with me, but I am trying to make it a point to start my day at the dining table with a fresh cup of coffee, something to read and, if I’m lucky, my husband.

This morning: last night’s fresh baked banana bread and a hot cup of coffee. I feel ready to conquer the world—or at least tackle my to-do list.

I saw this pic and read the words ‘freshly baked banana bread’. Then I got this sudden urge to eat one! Now, I feel like making one. And I might just do that this weekend. :D

Care to share your recipe? :)
