And please also remember the donor&#8217;s family; they&#8217;re giving such a precious gift to Ethan. Thank you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update: <\/strong>Ethan did get the heart! They performed surgery late Thursday night, and as of about midnight it was all over, he was moved to a room in the ICU and his new heart was pumping on its own. It&#8217;s really so amazing.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I think they&#8217;re working.
