It was so much fun.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"274\" height=\"358\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/jpg\/20070317_sundae.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nYou can see it the thrill in my eyes    <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/maganda\/sets\/72157600011501881\/\">More photos >><\/a><\/div>\n<p>We wandered the art store like kids in a candy shop, meeting in the aisles every so often to compare our finds. I spent half a gift card, buying <a title=\"footnote\" onmouseover=\"window.status=' footnote '; return true\" href=\"javascript:alert('acrylic paints, gel medium and gesso, oh my!');\">supplies I don&#8217;t normally use<\/a> because, well, because I could. Then, we crossed the street to <a target=\"_new\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dailycandy.com\/article.jsp?ArticleId=29483&#038;city=2\">Milk<\/a>, a sparkling new caf\u00e9 that serves sundaes, milkshakes, malts, ice cream sandwiches and tiny ice cream bon-bons\u2014all crafted with homemade ice cream. Yum. At our last stop, <a target=\"_new\" href=\"http:\/\/losangeles.citysearch.com\/profile\/64292\/los_angeles_ca\/pulp.html\">a little store<\/a> jam-packed with pretty paper products, we saw one of Rama&#8217;s <a target=\"_new\" href=\"http:\/\/www.poketo.com\">wallets<\/a>. Like a proud wife, I asked Rama to pose with his creation and snapped a shot to send <a title=\"footnote\" onmouseover=\"window.status=' footnote '; return true\" href=\"javascript:alert('or, in our case, to our family at their homes');\">home<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t speak for Rama and Becky, but it was just the kind of outing I&#8217;d been needing.
