once a week, i make a list of good things. this task usually falls around sunday, and it’s often scribbled on a scrap piece of paper and then written, more nicely, in my notebook. sometimes i come up with 20 things. others, i can barely think of 5. but it’s important, i think. i complain and whine and sigh so much that i need to remind myself that there are just as many — most likely more — things to smile about.<\/p>\n
