this used to be my personal website. it got lots of recognition because people are terribly nice.

it was created in sept. 1999 and updated obsessively until nov. 2001. a lot can happen in two years, and a lot did. i believe in documentation and preservation, which is why i never wiped out the old content, no matter how outdated or embarrassing it may be.

i often tell people this site is a lot like my grandmother's cabinets: it's jam-packed with stuff, but if you look hard enough you might find a couple gems.
